I am just amazed at the learning ability of the three foals that I have had the pleasure of owning these last two years. As you know, Zips Sassy Wind is in training with Judy Guenther. I am getting nothing short of excellent reports on Sassy in saddle training, her ability to grasp new learning experiences, and to expand on them further. Last Letters To Wind, who now resides in Jamestown, ND, is also coming along just great. I have been getting great feedback on him as well. His love for people is astounding and kids, he just adores them even more. He has such an even temperment and does whatever you ask of him. Zip's Indigo Wind is also a very special boy. He is a full sibling to Zips Sassy Wind. He is the second grulla that I have gotten from Menominee Wind. Sassy is the only bay with dun factor. All of these babies have been a joy to work with. They are sensitive to training, very quick learners, so people oriented, and just soak up the attention. My farrier has nothing but praise when working on these guys. He just loves the fact that they have such excellent feet. They hold their shape well from trim to trim. Even with all the dry weather and bad stomping from the flies, they have not chipped. They are so strong. I just want you to know that I have had a great learning experience with these babies. They have taught me how to train better with an individual that is not dull and will grasp issues very quickly with such sensitivity. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
