Judy Guenther grew up with horses. She is a graduate of University of Wisconsin - River Falls with a bachelors degree in animal science with emphasis in the horse and business programs. She has had the privilege to ride under several great horsemen: Jack Brainard, Larry Kasten, Tom Pierson, Ray Hunt, Lynn Palm, Sheila Shields, Matt Lantz, Keith Sanders, and Nettie Baker to name a few. She has attended many clinics and is so impressed with techniques by Clinton Anderson that she has adopted and adapted many of them into her program. Judy has a strong background in reining training but has spent most of her professional career training pleasure and all-around horses for show. She enjoys starting young horses and working with problem horses. Many problem horses have trouble communicating with their owner. One or the other is doing all the talking and no one is listening. Creating an understanding and plan of action can turn two individuals into one, a balanced pair working in harmony. Judy also gives riding lessons where students learn to groom, saddle, and do basic horse care. Beginners learn correct position and riding confidence, while advanced students work on showing techniques and getting the most out of their horses. She also works with horses on the  ground. Kids and adults need to be able to control their horse. Adult riders like the private atmosphere and chance to learn at their own pace. Her students have won many ribbons and trophies at the local and national level. But, most importantly, they gain self confidence, correct riding skills, and enjoy their horses.
